Initially worked on the project
of organizing data collection process and entering it in to the Ad Monitoring
Report & Contact Report System AMR & CRS. It is basically
a marketing data mart developed on VB and SQLServer on the back end.
It contains data regarding all the advertisement activities of the print
media industry, especially focusing on self & the main competitors.
Streamlined the process of maintaining and updating the database and
introduced Standard Operating Procedures SOPs to ensure that the content
of the database is accurate, relevant and up to date.
After successfully implementing
the data collection & database management processes, worked on the
dissemination of information or Business Intelligence BI, which is
technically known as processed data
Most significant responsibility
as a MIS officer was to design & develop highend MIS reports,
which would enable the executive management in formulating business
strategies and help them in informed decision making. Effectively designed
and developed Ads Missing Report, ShareComparison Report, Volume Trend
Report and Ads Agency related reports. Responsible for automation of
these reports through Crystal Reporting technology and was able to implement
high end MIS reporting on a routine of every fortnight.
