Aviation took off at age with flying gliders, and after an initial years with KLM in Flight Operations Support was built up to over years of solid flight operational support experience, half of which was spent in the Middle and Far East and Africa, and which by now covers most aspects of flight, ground, airport and network operations, as well as insight in maintenance support systems.
Extensive air logistical knowledge was built up through operational & managerial experience in highly customerdriven & multicultural environments, in roles such as airline station manager, flight operations & network duty manager, onboard flight manager, aviation consultant, airline postholder and fuel efficiency manager.

I accepted a position with IATA in the Brussels office, managing IATA&;s influence in helping to shape EU policy on the implementation of the SESII package.
This involved being present at, and providing input to, most stakeholder meetings and workshops EU, EuroControl, ANSPs, fellow associations in an effort to help shape policy and outcomes and help accelerate the eventual arrival of the ambitious savings potential for operators.
Whilst being highly interesting and challenging, this was not the field where I wanted to spend the next few years and I accepted an offer from LOT Polish Airlines to manage their fuel efficiency campaign.

Unfortunately the privatelyowned company went bankrupt and operations were closed down.

Active since AUG, international customers and work include consulting in fuel and operational efficiency, payload optimisation and process control, with the aim to provide a full range of services from assessment to implementation and training in the flight operational support arena, both in standalone or partnership roles. Network includes partners from all corners of airline operations, including flight technical, maintenance, network control.
