|Overall Function of the Position |
|Under the direct supervision of the Program/LWH Manager in MINAGRI, I was |
|responsible for the coordination of LWH Project activities in the District, as well |
|as managing the District Project Personnel. |
|Specific Duties of the Position: |
|Overall daytoday Coordination of the Implementation of LWH Project within the |
|District; |
|Liaising with other relevant programs and technical departments and stakeholders in |
|the District; |
|Supervision of the project staff in the District; |
|Overseeing contracting of trained facilitators, implementing agencies, supporting |
|staff and consultants and other providers of services to the |
|beneficiarycommunities; |
|Supervising the Project administration and financial matters at the District level; |
|Providing, through contracting to third parties, technical assistance to the |
|communities for preparation of bankable subprojects; |
|Providing input into the preparation of the Project’s Annual Work Program and |
|Budget; |
|Organizing training of the beneficiaries and relevant Project staff at the district |
|level with regard to development activities; |
|Any other duties as assigned by the Program Manager, LWH Project. |
