I’m a highly accomplished and dependable Senior Electrical Engineer with a B.S. Electrical Engineering degree. I have more than twentyfive years of product development experience at a tier automotive supplier. My background includes eleven years of electronic hardware design, years of program management and more than years of Vehicle Systems Integration Engineering experience with embedded microcomputers products.  

As a system engineer I have extensive experience in client interfacing, gathering customer requirements, conversion of customer requirements into internal specifications, defining system operation/ performance, generation of algorithms, generation of test plans used by both internal and external groups, performed bench and field verification, vehicle system calibration, problemsolving, decisionmaking and generation of schedules.   Provide guidance to development team in the face of ambiguity and influence product design to insure desired results are achieved.

As program/project engineering manager I directed a team of mechanical, electrical and system engineers. I was responsible for generation/ developed/ presentation of business proposals, preparing responses to RFQs, program planning, cost reduction initiatives, quality improvement proposals, gate reviews, product launch and insuring all aspects of the mechanical, electrical, and software design met all timing/ cost/ profit/ performance requirements. Provided team leadership and mentoring. 

As electronic hardware designer I have experience with both analog and digital electrical designing, circuit board layout, EMI/RFI requirements and putting products into production.

    Senior Vehicle System Engineer  –  

    Led engineering level interface with clients for the automotive HVAC system control head business line of this Fortune company. 

  • Prepared, developed, and presented responses to RFQs which was critical in being awarded over $M of business in the automotive sector.
  • Requested by customers due to my technical knowledge, thoroughly understanding of automotive system interaction, program management skills, interpersonal skills, professional ethics, demonstrated professionalism, positive attitude, personnel ownership/ commitment to program, personality and excellent working relationship with both internal and external customers / suppliers.
  • Primary liaison to customer through entire program life cycle.
  • Excellent understanding of interactions between automotive hybrid powertrain functionality and other sub systems.

  • Led a member mechanical and electrical engineer design team responsible for analyzing system requirements, meeting cost and capacity needs, winning business, design of product and reduction in plant returns and field failure rates.
