    Achievement:

    Managed the identification and prioritisation of a portfolio of Rx to OTC switch candidates and development and recommendation of communication concepts for a switch project for Europe via end user research.  I lead a team of General Managers from two of the major European affiliates to recommend on a potential acquisition. The European Senior Management agreed to and approved my recommendation.

    Responsibility:

    I was involved in the start up of the Nordic affiliate as a member of the management team, reporting to the General Manager. Managed marketing joint venture with GlaxoWellcome in the Nordic countries with focus on the leading product Zovirax® dermatology and Zantac®.

    Achievement:

    Leading market positions for Zovirax® and Zantac® under increased competition.

    I achieved this by close cooperation within the Nordic countries, in particular with sales

    reps, management, marketing and regulatory staff of GlaxoWellcome and advertising and media agencies.

  • Achieved approval by the Swedish Dental Association as first mouthwash in Sweden
  • Awarded best OTC advertising campaign for Zovirax® in Finland.
