I recommend Ruth T. to your organization
as a hard working, intelligent and perceptive individual. Ms.
T. was a Student in "Economics for Managers" in the Masters
program at Eastern Nazarene College. Her work was exemplary!
Her papers were well written and showed a deeper understanding of the
subject than many of her colleagues in the class. She worked to
fully understand the material and her ability to apply the concepts
Ruth possess three qualities that I
would want in an employee. One, is her cooperative attitude.
During class, she worked with another student whose personality was
quite different than hers. She was patient, worked effectively
to allow the other student to be fully involved, and yet made sure the
project was completed to her level of excellence. That is a skill.
Next, was her leadership through example. Although she is quiet
by nature, she demonstrated what was acceptable by what she expected
of herself. Others followed. Third, is her ability to see
beyond the obvious. Economics encourages one to think of the potential
consequences of an action. Ms. T. demonstrated the ability
to look at a problem from many different angles in order to come to
a conclusion that was thoughtful and comprehensive.
Whether the project or assignment was
individual or group oriented, Ms. T. did excellent work. She
follows through in a timely manner. She was an asset to the class,
and would be an asset to any organization for which she chose to work.
I look forward to hearing of the inevitable successes that she will
