Position: Business Development Manager Southern Nigeria
• Manage all upcountry sales activation programs organized by Cormart
• Identify the most economical means of delivering promotion events and best
promotional method for the territory based on brief received by regional
managers across the country & present to senior management team and
regional managers as and when required.
• Provide ROI assessment for each delivery platform & after each promotion
• Carrying out market research.
• Initiating and coordinating media plan.
• Preparations of marketing budgets and budgeting under various heads.
• Identifying, opening up& managing markets in new virgin territories in the
• Identifying new avenues for business development, new channels of
distribution, key markets in the untapped potential geographies that can be
targeted for business growth by the branches and regions.
• Identifying potential distributors that can be converted and serviced by the
regional offices or serviced directly by head office.
• Identify, convert &manage large key distributors key accounts in upcountry
markets that are critical to the success of the sales plan/business plan.
• Assume ownership for achievement of agreed targets
• Leading business development initiatives that ensure a healthy prospects
pipeline for the portfolio managed.
• Execution of business/sales plan as agreed by the senior management team.
• Ensuring that reports are submitted on time by self on agreed formats
