Since Jan. STERICSSON Grenoble Within the Multimedia Processor Division for mobile platform and within Architecture team, I&;m in charge of investigation for next generation platform. I clearly communicate complex system concepts for both internal and external audiences. In that context i&;m investigating: Next ARM cores like Cortex A/A building a prototype to enable all new features LPAEbits Virtualization BigLittle Architecture and the software cluster switch implementation System MMU definition and its software impact for Android/Symbian/Windows Virtualization technology and its Architecture Hardware/Software impacts System level coherency management with Last Level Cache study or CCI Coherent Interconnect of ARM OpenCL CPU/GPU based implementation UEFI support on our Windows platform Windows Analysis My extensive experience in lowlevel operating system functionality, specifically in areas such as memory/resource management, scheduling and process control, and power management, my debugging skills, and the desire to remain involved at a deep technical level make me still involved in supporting development teams on current platform Cortex AMP based : NEON on Cortex AMP and its integration into OSes Our platform memory bandwidth L/L cache configuration and its impact on platform performances Memcpy optimization on Cortex A Virtualization activities OpenCL CPU based runtime bench on Cortex AMP I share my experience across the core kernel teams, working closely with customers, partners, and internal engineering groups to design our mobile products.

Jan ST MICROELECTRONICS/ STNWIRELESS / STERICSSON Grenoble years Within the Multimedia Processor Division for mobile platform and within Architecture team, I&;m in charge of SMP Symmetric MultiProcessing technology introduction. At the beginning of project, I was studying the technology and evaluating its impact on Software User and Kernel/Drivers. Then before development phase, I did the porting of Symbian OS SMP version onto our FPGA platform. Such activities allowed me to enforce my knowledge on ARM CortexAMP and better understand impact of multicore on embedded real time systems and "Operating System" Symbian OS, Linux, Android. During the transition to SOC, I provided training and support to development teams on multicore and Symbian OS. I also worked on the definition of "CPU load/IRQ balancing" strategy and description of methodologies for test and validation of software developed by the company. My experience is used by development/integration teams for helping them during the porting of application/driver mono/multithreaded onto SMP platform. It allows me providing guidance on large number of subjects: Cache Management, DMA, Memory Management, Power Management and complex system analyses. In contact with customers, suppliers and development teams, I have the opportunity to travel to present the result of my studies. Dec. years ST MICROELECTRONICS Grenoble Within the Nomadik division and within the architecture team, I am responsible for Security and Graphic subjects. My role consists to anticipate the technological developments, to build and propose perennial architectures. During prototyping phases, I evaluate possible solutions. In the second time, I propose an architecture answering the internal and marketing requests in the form of a specification. My proposals direct the developments by keeping a longterm vision of the applications integration problems, while keeping the priorities of the project. Throughout the project, I ensure the design teams implemented the architecture choices and with the listening of the needs and constraints, I adapt the solutions. I study the API provided by OS and if they are not available or badly adapted, I propose some. My knowledge on system and ARM processors make me work on several system subjects like Cache management, DMA, Memory and Power Management, OS system analyze. My role enables me to be the bridge between the project leader, the developers and the marketing peoples. At the time of meetings with the customers or the suppliers, I retransmit in the form of a clear message technologies used. In an environment based on S/SymbianOS .X and ARMEJ/ARMJZFS/MPCore I work on subjects such as OpenGLES././. OpenVG . D Acceleration, Cryptography, Trust Zone and Virtualization. PURPLE LABS Bourget du Lac Within the software and system integration team, I took part in the design and the development of several Smartphones based on high technology peripherals. This job enabled me to widen my knowledge, to affirm my competences on embedded real time systems and to support various platforms. In charge of maintaining and developing the OS, I carried out the applications porting on various hardware platforms, ensured stability of it before providing a development environment and supporting the various teams. This activity enabled me to study new processors CALYPSO, CALYPSO+ ARM based of Texas Instruments or the ARM and to optimize certain applications MIDI, camera real time sensitive. In charge for a specific platform, I ensured technical responsibility of the software part of the project. NORTEL NETWORKS Bussy St Georges Within the context of UMTS project, I developed an expertise on a microcontroller POWERQUIC II MPC developing drivers for ATM protocol management. This experiment enabled me to reinforce my knowledge on the embedded real time systems and operating systems applying them in the design and the development. Within the international support team, I ensured the support of complex products Meridian and MMCS by their heterogeneous architecture and their establishment in sensitive networks. Such activity confronted me with the customers&; requirements; I travelled and worked under the pressure. Within the "private and public PABX" activities, I evolved in a multinational context as a software and system integrator. Maintaining the software directory architecture, compiling and providing official versions in a complex development environment were part of my activity. In charge of maintaining development tools, integration and patches management, I also ensured the support of the users. During the OS maintenance, I increased my knowledge on embedded real time systems.

WAVETEK St Etienne With an aim of developing a new generation of detection algorithms, I studied signalprocessing algorithms and applied them in the automatic search of events on optical reflectometry diagrams. These algorithms were developed for embedded systems.
The practice of sports such as football or the ski enables me to meet many people and to learn how to know my limits.
