Abstract accepted for paper titled In vivo tissue characterization of coronary lipid plaques: comparison of Optical Coherence Tomography and NearInfrared Spectroscopy with Brajeshwar Maini, Larisa Buyantseva and Greg W. Stone in the Transcatheter Cardiovascular Therapeutics . The paper studies the prestenting and poststenting plaque presence in the proximal, mid and distal regions of LipiScan TM images. We used the fuzzyc means algorithm with automated initial centroids using the bumphunting method for segmenting the images into two classes, one with the higher intensity value representing plaque and the other with smaller intensity value representing the blood vessel. The program was written in Matlab and used various functions of the Image Segmentation Toolbox. . Writing a paper on midlevel approach for honeypots. Experiments performed with a novel fingerprinting mechanism for the POP server reveal a better emulation and a semiautomated fingerprinting of the service when used with a lowlevel honeypot. The fingerprinting program interacted with the remote POP server via tcpflow and developed a finite state machine based on the user inputs and server responses. This finite state machine was then used by the emulation program to mimic the behavior of the fingerprinted POP server with a lowinteraction honeypot, namely honeyd. This semiautomated approach has paved way for further research towards full automation of fingerprintingemulation mechanism of a network service.
