> Reconciliation of End of Period Balance in GLEAM output with the data in underlying systems to establish
Completeness of data in GLEAM for Basel Capital Reporting.
> Analysis of GLEAM data output at Product level for EAD & RWA accuracy under different Asset Classes for
various B Approaches.
> Provide timely & accurate information for Senior Management reporting within deadlines using query Tool
"SAS" & “BRIO”.
> Contributed significantly in HBME IRBF Parallel run for quarters which helped in closing the IRB Self
Assessment Gap for HBME to facilitate migration for reporting under IRB. This task required designing and
documentation of several complex queries, linking GLEAM Output to underlying system data files using SAS
& BRIO query tools.
> Designed & documented queries for monitoring of Data Quality DQ and highlighting exceptions to HSBC
Asset Classification Policy.
> Automated the DQ Asset Classification queries as “Daily & Fortnightly HUB Exception Reports” generated as
part of the HUB batch process for business users to review and action.
> Providing support for monitoring of Data Integrity in Local & Group Systems for Basel by
o Ensuring GLEAM is populated with GMO specified Basel compliant data by undertaking data quality
o Implementing GLEAM upgrades in the Middle East sites for HBME, HMEF, HBEG and advisory role for
o Support implementation of Data Improvement Projects DIP for BASEL by intensively analyzing data
quality in HUB, CARM, Credit Card and Leasing systems.
o Contribute towards review and reengineering of processes highlighting Operational Risks and
o Provide ongoing guidance to business Users on ensuring accurate Asset Classification by directing to
the relevant Group guidelines.
o Key liaison point between business Users and GMO with regard to Customer static data quality.
