Description of the project:
I am working in the current project since I joined Infosys in May .This project is a Production
support project which involves supporting a Siebel application based on Siebel epharma Module.
This application is used by one of the biggest pharmaceutical Major across many countries in
Europe, Canada and China. The complexity of this project can easily be understood by the
number of the users around Sixteen Thousand who are using this application.
The users of this application are mainly the sales representatives, who are always in the field
with the doctors to promote the company products, which makes our role very important as we
need to keep our continuous focus on client’s needs and requirements and to resolve their issues
which ever they have with the application and to help them to use it in making there daily tasks
faster/easier to execute.
I was involved in the transition process of these support activities for many countries including
Netherlands, Switzerland, Greece and Czech Republic. I went to the client location in
Netherlands for knowledge transition from client to our support teams. There was lot of analysis
done by me on the business processes, business terminology, and the business structure that
was in place in Netherlands. This analysis was later followed by lot of documents in the form of
Service Catalogues, Standard operating procedure, Application appreciation documents,
Localization documents etc. The same process is repeated across all the markets which I was
responsible to support.
Duties and responsibilities:

China

I had worked with Mahindra Satyam for years, during my stay with my previous company, I got

that I have worked for:
Domain: Telecom
Client: A telecom major of Netherlands
Description of the project:
The Client is the leading telecommunications and ICT service provider in Netherlands, offering
wire line and wireless telephony, internet and TV to consumers, and endtoend
telecommunications and ICT services to business customers.
This project is basically related to the order management process for the users of the service
provider. A customer service representative is needed to create the order whenever a customer
places a call. Orders are based on the various configuration of the product and Siebel Order
Management Process provides a lot of options to choose from a set of orders for the customers.
It helps Customer service representative to the place the order, track the order, reject the order
and make it approved.
Duties and responsibilities:
. Prepared Functional design Document for Siebel Order Management Process
. Responsible for the preparation of the requirements documents after the requirement
analysis for the CRM system
. Developed use cases based on the Siebel Order Management process
. Prepared and Executed test scenarios and Test Scripts for Siebel Orders
. Provided a high level of coordination between clients and the teams working on the
various modules of the projects.

This project was aimed to provide the organization with a single standardization, integrated
platform for managing service delivery, specification, requests in the area of Facilities Services

a Business Transformation initiative that will seek to leverage OutoftheBox OTB Siebel public
sector . functionality and best practice processes. It provides a common platform to track
incidents, requests and projects across all permanents sites and temporary missions.
Duties and responsibilities:
. I was involved with the Onsite Business analyst on a regular basis for the requirement
gathering. Based on the needs of the client, I have helped in preparing the Functional
Design Document
. Prepared Test cases based on the functionality of the project and was involved in the
testing at various levels
. Done testing at each level before delivery of the product
. Given Demo of the product to the client
. Have helped in preparing the training documents for the User
. Used Mercury quality center for Test script Execution, Defect management, uploading the
