The Australian Taxation Office ATO has embarked upon a $ million transformational program C.e
Program ECMP in that impacted people, processes and technology.
Focus on improving Client Service and Workflow Management through introduction of Siebel and integrating the
management and processing of all Tax Office products with a customised web based UI.
The resulting technology and process C.e will deliver on a set of agreed Client Experiences resulting in
implementing a significant improvement for both Tax Officers and Tax Payers.
System Test Team Lead – Conversion Data Test Team months
Designed and planned the Converted data UI test scope using converted data – established business and
technical requirements for testing and defined test scenarios via workshopping with Conversion business SMEs.
Trained and managed full time test analyst and business testing teams people across Australia with basic
testing principles and Siebel and Tax Processing system navigational skills to ensure they were able to efficiently
execute scripts in each cycle. These teams were mainly virtually trained and/or managed.
Managed delivery of test execution activities – created and maintained test plans, performed system testing and
provided onsite support to business testers and SMEs where required to ensure testing was completed on
Executed environment and application shakedown scripts, regular scripts and participated in other execution
support activities where required.
Maintained test environment requirements for Conversion test team.
Interfaced directly with Conversion and Build managers to ensure defects were understood, prioritised, fixed
and retested in a timely manner.
Improved efficiency and quality of work by introducing new development standards and processes.
Produced daily/weekly management reports for senior leadership – compiled daily and weekly test statistics and
reported weekly risks and issues.
Identified opportunities for improvement and optimisation ensuring the highest levels of client service
Defect Manager – Conversion Data Design Team months
Trained Conversion team members to use Mercury TestDirector and adhere to the Conversion Defect
Ran training workshops to skill up Conversion test team members to use Siebel CRM.
Authored the Conversion Defect Management approach in line with C.e Program guidelines and the
requirements of the Conversion Management team.
