Light Company’s Duane Arnold Energy Center DAEC nuclear plant.
While at DAEC, I developed extensive observation techniques and riskinformed
observations ability as part of the DAEC team. I demonstrated
a broad outlook for capturing data that goes beyond information as I
routinely apply judgment and experience to data in order to assess and
provide feedback/recommendations for better efficiency and reliability.
Support to all customers is always a priority and automation, server
and maintenance support cannot be compromised. I developed detailed
knowledge of power plant operations and the technical language used
with nuclear energy operations. I was responsible the development
and extensive writing of “howto” publications that converted complex
technical automation in order to make it understandable and user friendly.

of automation support needed for DAEC to accomplish their important
nuclear assurance, security, communications missions as well as the
energy needs to over , residential customers annually.
