CAREER SUMMARY:

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:

Contract Independent Contractor for Accenture December – May in Hong Kong.

Responsible for a person implementation team and interfacing with multiple clientside technical resources for a large government client.  Attended meetings to discuss the technical implementation of over SAP systems, along with their respective Enterprise Portal implementations, and report back to the Accenture management team our methods.   Followed Accenture’s proven methodologies for successful implementation, bridging the gaps with my personal experiences.  Managed the various issues coming from the client, assigning them to the proper resources and conduct followup until the solution is implemented.  Designed and implemented security across the Netweaver landscape, Enterprise Portals, and BEx tools.  Handled installations, technical configuration and support of a wide variety of systems including ECC, BW, SRM, PI, and Enterprise Portals, in Sandbox, Development, UAT, Training, QAS, Data Conversion, and Production environments, including configuration, support and maintenance of multiple SAP Web Dispatchers and SAP Web Application Servers.  Performed system upgrades, applying support pack stacks and enhancement packs throughout the various landscapes.  Configured EP to link between ECC, BW, and SRM, including Portal security and access to multiple clients from multiple Portals.   

Founder and CEO of Silver Screen March – present.  Provide video production services for events and festivals in Taipei.  Started and built a small business selling video production services, including pre and postproduction, concentrating on live music and promotional events. 

Contract Independent Contractor for K Professional Services May – October .  Responsible for assisting in the design, build, and implementation of security in their SAP Netweaver landscape, including the new BW analysis authorization concept, on an APO implementation for a very large client > users.  Responsibilities also included interfacing with team members and managers to direct the security requirements while keeping in line with the project deadlines.  Also completed attendance at BW BI – User Management and Authorizations. 

Director of Asia Operations for HotSauce Technologies, Inc January – September in Taipei, Taiwan.  Responsible for opening, building, and overseeing all aspects of the Taiwan office for HotSauce Technologies USA headquarters.  Beginning in the company with people, helped build the company into a multinational, multimillion dollar professional services firm with headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia, and offices in Chicago, Charlotte, New York, and Taipei.  Responsible for interviewing, hiring, training, and taking inexperienced resources and turning them into integral parts of the company.  Lead and trained the overseas support team, which included remotely supporting clients at inception, to x support as the sole support resource, to over clients at its peak, using secure remote administration tools.  Also responsible leading up projects ranging from designing and implementing quality assurance testing processes to designing and leading projects for Visa’s Payment Application Best Practices PABP compliance program.  Responsible for seamless interfacing between the Taipei office and offices in the USA, including holding meetings, remote training, and documentation and training of all new software features.  Provided all QA testing of all software components including SQL database administration, frontofhouse and backofhouse for the company’s PointofSale application.  Responsible for designing, documenting, and implementing new processes to accommodate company growth and PABP compliance.  Acted as the global “goto” guy for all escalated and advanced client support issues which couldn’t be resolved by other resources.  Responsible for managing nonEnglish speaking resources using creative methods to get points across when bilingual resources were unavailable.   

Contract SAP Basis Team Lead person team for Hewlett Packard August – December in Singapore.  Responsible for managing the security team for HP’s Asia Pacific SAP RollOut.  Building and assigning security profiles for thousands of users from Japan to New Zealand and all countries inbetween.     

Contract SAP Basis Senior Consultant for BearingPoint July – August in Singapore.  Responsible for analyzing the current security landscape, identifying current issues and proposing a process to clean up the current roles and implement a better security concept.  Also, identifying tools to use for the implementation to make it easier.  Also, proposing the use of Single Sign On to map Win Logon to new SAP users, making the clean up as transparent as possible to current users.  Proposed the use of Central User Administration to better manage the new security concept across instances. 

Contract SAP Basis Team Lead person team for National Computer Systems Pte Ltd NCS March – June in Singapore.  Managing the SAP technical implementation for different government clients, splitting my time between the morning and afternoon at each place.  One client is using core R/ and SAP ITS . and the other utilizes R/, SAP Workplace, and SAP ITS ..  Responsibilities outside of daily support include managing time between both clients and performing afterhours work for both for tasks including kernel upgrades, remote client copies, support packages, and an ITS consolidation, combining separate Wgate and Agate servers into one single server.   

Contract Senior SAP Basis Consultant in the Enterprise Delivery Division of Fujitsu Asia Pte Ltd October – February in Singapore.  Member of a person Basis team on a US$ million Aerospace and Defense implementation.  Responsibilities include daily support of SAP components, including APO, BW, CRM, R/, ITS, and Workplace, in a landscape which houses servers consisting of IBM AIX, Windows /NT, and Oracle DBMS.   

Senior Basis Consultant and team lead in the Applications Management team within Cap Gemini Ernst & Young April – October in Singapore.  Responsible for supporting the SAP infrastructure of a global rollout of SAP for a large oil company in the AsiaPacific regionThe infrastructure of this client includes core R/, APO, and ISOil.   Managing myself, I was the only Basis resource located in the AustralAsian region for this project. 

Senior Basis Consultant and team leader person team in the Applications Management team within Cap Gemini Ernst & Young October – April in Australia.  Responsible for supporting the SAP infrastructure of the largest real estate implementation in Australia for more than months.  As the team leader of the Basis team, this includes:

  • Full on Basis Administration, supporting SAP Workplace, implementing change management and security, implementing kernel upgrades and support packages, client copies and exports/imports, system copies, installations, SAP component upgrades, Bdoc and CRM Middleware administration between the CRM and the core R/ system, SAP Business Connector administration, SAP Workflow administration, BW authorizations, SAP ITS implementation and upgrade, and daily monitoring of different SAP systems.

    Contract Served as Senior Basis Consultant responsible for Basis support of up to clients at Seventh Wave Technology May – June .  Was also hired to manage, mentor, and train new employees in the Basis module of SAP, as well as manage the nd and rd shifts for a x SAP client support center.  While working on the rd shift am – am, the critical tasks included:

  • Use an internally developed tool called WaveOnline.net to monitor each client’s SAP system.  The tool resembles a scheduler to tell you when to do various activities within SAP, such as performance monitoring, backup monitoring, background and batch job monitoring, user administration, and system log monitoring.  It also contained a central place for alert monitoring where you can diagnose potential problems before the happen.
  • Interfaced with the client’s call center to alert them of current problems and proactively monitor their systems to warn them of possible upcoming issues.
