Worked as the project
leader and developer of a callable RTL network communications messaging
tool called Speedway. This tool, based on the Client/Server
model, was used throughout internal DEC in distributed processing and
distributed database applications. Responsible for all aspects
of this tool; marketing, consulting with customers on implementation,
writing programmer documentation, designing and writing enhancements
for new releases. Lead engineer of a major rewrite of the tool.

Performed as the technical
project/leader on a major rewrite and redesign of the Corporate wide
Planning and Information System COPIS. Responsibilities included data,
system analysis and design, hardware/software evaluation and proposal,
development of technical specifications, prototyping, and programming.
Responsible for the codesign and development of an extractor system.
Developed the frontend portion using Powerhouse for screens and processes
to collect and maintain user information, security, extract criteria
and scheduling. Codesigned the back end portion, which used GL
programming to generate DATATRIEVE procedures. Proposed, designed,
and implemented DownlineLoading from the DEC directly into LOTUS
on a PC, using the KERMIT protocol.

Performed analysis, design
and programming for the support and enhancement of the Manufacturing
Cost system and its associated subsystems. Functioned as a project
leader for the implementation of a new Physical Inventory system and
Interplant Reconciliation System. Developed and formally presented
procedures to automate the Manufacturing Cost System, which greatly
reduced manual intervention and increased control and efficiency.

for all the programming involved with the Accounts Payable System.
