Description: Next
Gen, is very user friendly, self explanatory and reliable system that
supports property, auto and casualty claim technology. Next Gen is a
sophisticated application that facilitates a user to build claims entering
FNOL, process claims, and assign different work groups based on various
criteria. The Pending File Migration project converts claims from old
mainframe Legacy System to oracle which is the database for Next Gen
application. The flow of conversion is, the claims are first extracted
from DB and transmitted to AB Initio where the data files are updated.
Then the data is transformed to SQL and then loaded to Oracle staging
database. After that load the claims would be available to testers.
To ensure the Next Gen Application meets functional requirements through
end to end testing and to test if the Next Gen is able to correctly
process the financials on converted claims is my main focus on this
project.
