Overall responsibility on the MEP variation claim of build contract of DCC Expansion Phase
consisting of a star hotel tower Shangrila and star Rotana & Merweb towers with a total
covered area of , sq m and revised lumpsum price of QR .B. Directly reports to the
Senior Commercial Manager and was initially tasked to manage larger MEP subcontract work
from valuations, variations, notices, up to final accounts, I had also required for the development
of star rates from our MEP project manager subcontractor prior to checking and submission of
priced EIs as the previous BoQ rates is not applicable considering the revision of the total
contract amount. During the st quarter of my participation on subcontract works were
limited to technical clarifications and notices as may be required as I was directed to concentrate
on MEP claims from getting the desired numbers and quality check of EIs for submission,
working together with our Senior Civils QS in getting our figures up on monthly statement by co
ordinating and providing relevant backups as to which MEP EIs is progressing on site and/or can
be included in our valuations. Ongoing substantiation and agreement of the revised MEP BoQ
with PQS AECOM applicable to all valid MEP variations, ongoing preparation of MEP mini
claims and follow up of rejected EIs for reconsideration initially assessed by Engineer as no time
and cost impact and other task assigned intermittently by the Senior Commercial Manager.

Leading the Manila satellite office MEP team in the delivery of USACE tenders for verified
contractor Areb Engineering and Logistics with HQ at Iraq. Assigned an account on
– a US government website related to military solicitation and tasked to look and
advise the HQ for possible tenders we can participate in Iraq and Afghanistan by updating a
tender register for reference. Once a particular project was selected by the HQ in Iraq they shall
send their intent to participate in USACE and the tender documents shall be sent to Manila for
use as basis of Bid. Quantities are derived from SOW, Technical Specification and concept
plans issued by USACE through solicitations. We had participated and won in some of
Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quotation IDIQ tenders of KSpan and D panel building systems
at various locations in Afghanistan. Other projects includes, garrison, small arms range,
engineering school, barracks, TOC, point of entry, power plant, Headquarters, radio towers for
oilfield, etc. both in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Working for Al Rashid Trading and Contracting Company’s satellite office in Manila with HQ at
Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. We had initially worked for the commercial aspect to support the King
Khalid University renegotiated contract, Autodesk QTO software was introduce for verifying the
quantities in pdf and cadd drawings. Due to higher management decision the satellite office in
Manila was shutdown.

Worked as Project Manager for Client Kingdom Hotels for the fit out project of Raffles
Residences Sales Gallery valued at US$ k inside one of Manila’s most prestigious mixed
used complex from inception of proposed layout in coordination with the Architect and final
approval of Client, cost planning, selection of main contractor, specialty subcontractor, in house
contractor – for fire alarm and protection, building permits, project execution, punch listing,
occupancy permits and turn over to end user within months from issuance of NTP to main
contractor.
As one of the Project Manager for the Client for the fit out project of storey JP Morgan Chase
Customer Care Center valued at US$ M.
At the onset of the project with budget approved by JPMC, I was involved from vetting of tender
drawing with Client, Architect and Engineer up to obtaining comments, suggestion and formal
approval from Landlord, cost planning with QS Davis Langdon, bidding process for several
packages, short listing and award to winning bidders.
During project execution I was tasked by our Project Director to mostly do the coordination with
the Landlord, from which our Client JPMC is leasing the offices spaces, and JPMC to update
progress on site and tackle outstanding issues progressively. I am chairing the weekly external
meeting/conference call between JPMC and Landlord, all issues raised are recorded and
distributed through minutes of meeting for action as agreed upon or information. I am also
chairing the internal weekly meeting/conference call between the Engineer, Architect, QS, the
Client and as required Contractors or Suppliers to discuss issues related to design revisions,
value engineering, cost impact, slippages including catch up revised programme as applicable,
material deliveries etc.. All issues raised are recorded and distributed to all concerned parties by
minutes of meeting. Submission of weekly report in agreed format to JPMC project manager
based in Hong Kong.
On the end tail of the project I am leading and coordinating submissions of method statements,
cause and effect analysis and finalization of schedule including attendance to Final IST of MEP
Systems with rd party T & C specialist, The Engineer, The Building Administrator, MEP
contractors redundant genset, redundant fire and jockey pump, FDAS, Geofrrey System, etc.,
Landlord MEP contractor standby gensets, fire and jockey pumps and ATS and Suppliers
conducting further inspection and test to verify the works operate in conformity with design
specification. Requires contractors/supplier to submit O & M manuals, spares & tools as verified
by the Engineer including training of inhouse facilities team prior to hand over and acceptance
by Client. Management of Day works assigned by JPMC.

expansion of Dubai International Airport, project cost is AED M. Coordination and agreement
of monthly IPA and priced EIs with PQS TTSPage Kirland. Assist Commercial Manager in
claims relative to extension of time by gathering all correspondence, records and meetings with
delay notices, narrative cause and effect for every issued EI, prolongation cost loss and
expense, etc. Estimates prolongation cost and new BoQ rates for extended time, during this
period the Engineer certified an onaccount payment of our extended preliminaries.
