With a Chemistry BSc, I have a wide Scientific Research background including my Master of Science in Advanced Analytical Chemistry Environmental Analysis HPLC, GC/MS, ICPMS, AAS ; thesis work based on Scanning Electron Microscopy, EDAX and XPS of fractures in industrial steels from oilgas pipelines, my PhD in Surface Science UltraHigh Vacuum and Synchrotron Radiation soft Xrays NEXAFS, XPS and UV spectroscopy UPS ; chemisorption on precious metal single crystal surfaces and my expertise in the QuantumMechanical Simulation of solids, surfaces, nanostructures and defects for catalysis, magnetism, phonons, optical, electrical, semiconducting and spectroscopic properties. Furthermore, I will mention the expertise I have acquired at large scale scientific installations across Europe, both accelerator and supercomputing centres.
