Contracts Manager Role Added 

The Contract Manager is responsible for the entire customer process. Once a sales is acquired the customer service manager should begin transforming the sale into an order and maintain all communications with the customer from contracts, progress, completion dates, shipping dates, changes, queries and follow up, invoicing and receipt of monies. 

The Duties and Responsibilities 

  • To implement price variation formulas between Ire & UK in a timely manner.
  • To create procedures and authorizations for PTI sales, orders confirmations and contracts in line with CG rules of procedures regarding quotations, sales orders and contracts, credit approvals and sales agent /rep agreements.
  • To create and implement customer acceptance and customer credit/contract risk procedures.
  • Extensive liaison with production, design & technical departments on customer requirements.
  • Liaison with supply chain to schedule customer orders.
  • Responsible for all contracts and orders of PTI working closely with the Pauwels Sales Team.
  • To prepare, negotiate and coordinate contracts for customer orders optimizing the best results for both customer & PTI. To ensure contracts are signed and adhered to.
  • To investigate & resolve customer queries and service complaints.
  • To liaise with Quality to ensure timely response to technical complaints
  • Develop sound feedback and complaints procedures.
  • To create and implement risk assessment methodology for specified types of quotations/orders.
  • To coordinate with finance department regarding FX coverage/hedging procedure for new sales contracts in foreign currency.
  • Liaise and communicate duly with customers at all stages of negotiations and contract.
  • To facilitate, communication and maintain a Sales & Marketing Policy as per corporate guidelines.
  • To participate in formulating, to retain and communicate sales orders, confirmations and contracts from the UK Sales Office.
  • To devise measure and set targets and KPI’s for Sales, orders and deliveries and customer satisfaction.
  • Document and maintain comprehensive Sales, Invoicing and Payment Collection procedures.
  • To monitor, motivate and develop the contract management department.
  • To complete honest and constructive appraisals with employees.
  • To adhere to Safety and Emergency Procedures.
  • To communicate & consult with all employees working for you & to inform them of any relevant development within the company or any changes in policy or procedure.
  • To advise and support to other departments as and when required.
  • To actively participate in the Management Review Board.
  • To carry out any other reasonable duties as and when required by the Managing Director.
