Mcnally Bharat, VA Tech Wabag Role and Responsibility in Contracts Execution EPC 

  • Currently involved as independent Project Manager in the execution of Pretreatment Plant package for NTPC Rihand Super Thermal Power Project Stage III x MW
  •  
  • At VA Tech Wabag, Involved in the execution of Plant Water Systems Package X MW plant for Durgapur Steel Thermal Power Plant at Andal for Damodar Valley Corporation, DVC, Kolkata. The scope of work is Supply and Services for DM Plant and Effluent Treatment Plant, Water Pretreatment system and km piping CI pipes with wrap coating.

  • Meeting Client with support from design team for drawings and documents approval, Mechanical GA / data sheets / Civil GA and Reinforcement drawings / Process flow diagram / P& ID / HFD / Equipment outline drawings etc.
  • Discussion with client and vendors / subcontractors to resolve technical issues with the help of our Engineering team, initiating manufacturing of equipments, expedite.Mechanical, Piping, Electrical, Instrumentation and Civil
  • Meeting Client for MDCC Material Dispatch Clearance certificate, MRN Material Receipt Note at Site, payments, Inspection approval, organising and accompanying Inspection team, Issuance of way bills / Road permits from NTPC/DVC and supporting commercial team for claim of CST and C form, Road Permits etc.
  • Getting PACProject Authority Certificate for Excise duty exemption from NTPC and giving it to subcontractors, vendors to ensure correct Tax invoice/Delivery challan/Packing slip and LR from vendor for monthly billing to client.
  • Ordering, purchasing, inspection and supply of materials including structural steel items, cement and TMT bar steel to site ontimely basis for work progress at site. As well as payment to vendors with the help of finance team. Also followup with Stores at site for status.
  • Planning and giving monthly billing targets for supply and service to management and achieving them
  • Preparing Billing schedule for supply, civil works, spares, transportation and structural works and getting it approved from client.
  • Raising invoice to client for supply as well as service, and also ensuring collection from client on time..
  • Meeting vendors for timely Inspection as per QAP Quality Assurance Plan, manufacturing clearance.
  • Follow up with Resident Construction Manager and discipline Heads for discussion of critical areas of concern
  • Follow up between Site and Head Office for details of updated informations both incoming and outgoing, status of drawings and procurement status, expediting , and timely completion of all the works.
  • Coordination with site stores in charge, Planning department regarding status of materials at site, E&I / Mechanical / Civil, cement, steel, sand, iron etc
  • Follow up and coordination between site and Pune office Responsible for DM Plant execution for on time procurement status / informations / approved drawings status for execution of DM Plant.
  • Visiting site on regular basis and working with site people, discussing critical issues and the status. Expediting in all disciplines.
  • Monthly progress report for every month, to get the status of drawings and procurement status both for supply and services and coordination with Planning Engineer.
  • Supporting Site, HO and Pune Office and regular followups for expediting work.
  • Visiting Factory at Pune for expedition of manufacture and rubber lining of spools for DM plant, gaskets, studbolts, flanges etc.

  • Sales and Marketing at Jaipur Municipal Corporation .MLD & MLD conventional Sewage Treatment Plant STP including Operation & Maintenance O&M for Rajasthan Urban Infrastructure Development, RUIDP; won order worth Rs.  Crores excluding Operation & Maintenance.
  • Coimbatore Municipal Corporation MLD Water Treatment Plant with conventional technology.
  • Damodar Valley Corporation DVC, Kolkota Plant Water System Package for Mejia Steel Plant, W.B./ Water Treatment Facilities for *MW Koderma Thermal Power Project.
  • Damodar Valley Corporation, Plant Water Systems for Durgapur Steel Thermal Power Station * MW; acquired order worth Rs. Crores project into piping, water pretreatment with DM technology and ETP.
  • Chennai Metro Water Supply & Sewerage Board, MLD Sewage Treatment Plant with Activated Sludge Process and Biogas generation technology presently under evaluation.

  • Managing the project cost optimization & pricing optimization.
  • Carrying out man power costing, travel expenses, overheads, site establishment cost i.e. project over heads cost.
