Jjuuko S. is a Civil/ Geotechnical/ Materials Engineer. He has a practical BSc degree in Civil engineering. He is active with various professional bodies, has excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills. He has over one year’s experience in university activities. He has given lectures and done research at the best university in Uganda on a part time basis and done a number of studies in the civil engineering department.

He has published one technical paper in local magazines. His final year research project on The use of drysand mixing in improving the engineering properties of a typical Ugandan clayey soil, that used Busega as the case study, is being reviewed to be published in the International Journal of Geotechnical Engineering IJGE.

He is computer literate and can work well with MS office packages MS Word, MS Excel, Power point presentation, etc, Internet explorer and a number of professional packages including AutoCAD, AutoCAD Land Development, MS project, and data analysis packages. He can competently use and train fellows in the use of civil and surveying equipment yet also has adequate knowledge of simple field based complementary techniques. He is detail oriented, innovative and aggressive, but also a very good listener and excellent at taking instructions.  He is highly enthusiastic, selfmotivated and possesses a high degree of adaptability to changing working conditions, maturity and initiative.
