coolers, heaters, reactors, turboexpanders, plate fin exchangers, slug catchers, printed circuit heat
exchangers, cold box etc. as per the applicable codes.
> Analysis and supporting of big bore piping up to ” diameter.
> Analysis of high temperature lines including transfer lines, heater lines, reactor lines etc.
> Analysis and supporting of cryogenic piping with vapour barrier using polyurethane foam blocks
and wooden blocks.
> Analysis of flow lines, gas lift lines, water injection lines, riser piping, pig launcher / receiver piping,
bridge piping, compression modules, flare boom piping etc. for offshore platforms.
> Fatigue analysis as per ASME Sec. VIII Div. / DNV / PD .
> Dynamic analysis of piping subjected to surge, slug loads, modal analysis and safety valve
reaction calculations etc.spectrum / time history analysis / DLF generation methods.
> Blast analysis for piping exposed to explosion.
> Vortex Induced Vibration VIV analysis.
> Analysis of piping subject to Acoustic Induced Vibrations AIV using Energy Institute MTD /
ExxonMobile / CONCAWE guidelines in a collaborative effort with Process Department.
> Review of Analog study reports done for reciprocating machinery and incorporation of vendor
recommendations into analysis.
> Flange leakage calculations and load capacity check as per codes / standards / vendor
requirements.
> Analysis for sea transportation of the offshore platforms.
> Checking of local stresses at shell / nozzle junction for vessels WRC / WRC .
> Selection of vessel & exchanger piping support clips, selection and design of spring supports,
expansion joints and antivibration supports such as rigid struts, sway braces etc.
> Local stress check at support locations, trunnion sizing, large bore piping saddle sizing etc.
> Review / Checking of special support drawings.
> Visual and hand calculations for noncritical piping , finalization of expansion loops for rack piping , offsite
steam and flare piping using nomographs / simplified equations etc.
