Prepare Stress Analysis Criteria and Guidelines prior to the start of the project.
Determine piping stress analysis grade based on Project Stress Analysis Criteria and Project
Determine extent of each calculation system based on P&ID, UHD, Line Index and Stress Analysis
Criteria for each project.
Prepare Flexibility Analysis Control Sheet.
Prepare Line Condition Sheet and Flex Isometric Drawing prior to calculation.
Calculate equipment nozzle thermal movement & imposed support displacements.
Perform required static and dynamic analysis using Caesar II.
Evaluation of equipment nozzle loads based on applicable codes / standards, Stress Analysis
Criteria and/or equipment vendor requirements.
Checking of calculation results and nozzle evaluation report if acceptable based on applicable code
Provide design group with recommended resolutions such as support relocation, additional support, re
routing if necessary for overstressed piping arrangements.
Provide designers and other discipline with data concerning stresses and expected support & nozzle
Prepares detail drawings for pipe supports and vessel support clips.
Prepares spring and Expansion Joint data sheet.
Perform site survey and stress analyses for rerated piping on revamp projects.
