Both Strategies were adopted by the respective Boards/Committees. · ICT Management and Operations: o Successful Sun Systems rollout to regional offices of the Seventh Day Adventist church within East and Central Africa division; and business operation transformation in Old Mutual by successfully automating the procurement and store processes by use of Microsoft Dynamics. Through the establishment of a HelpDesk Service Unit and Systems based on ITIL V best practices framework; and the negotiation of a Service Level Agreement with the Business Units, managed to streamline the ICT support services with clear delivery expectations and measurements leading to a significant jump in business approval rating of the department. Have presented a number of papers in ICT governance frameworks COBIT, ITIL, and PRINCE II, ICT and Business alignment, and ICT auditing in a number of professional forums. · o · Infrastructural Developments: I have undertaken major ICT infrastructural projects as follows: o Designed a nationwide infrastructural architecture for connecting the branch offices for Old Mutual Kenya. The design was based on an MPLS technology and earned the company the Computer Society of Kenya CSK excellence award for the years and . Developed a regional infrastructural design for the EastCentral Africa Division of the SeventhDay Adventist Church. The design consisted of the LAN architecture for the individual offices and WAN architecture for interconnectivity. Developed and implemented a campuswide information systems network for the head office of the SeventhDay Adventist Church regional office in Nairobi ECD o o · Business Continuity: o DRP: Designed and implemented a Disaster Recovery concept for Old Mutual information systems based on Network Attached Storage and offsite data replication. This resulted on minimal downtimes and no loss of data for the last three years. Business Transformation through technology: I managed in the last one year to transform a number of business processes in procurement and operations by improving on the Financial System MS Dynamics ­ Great Plains modules and servers infrastructure upgrades resulting in improved efficiency and cost management. IT Policy Formulation: In liaison with the divisional IT Committee, developed the division office IT policy document and IT policy guidelines to lower organizations.
