Vice President, Flooring for North American market.

PlyQuet is the sales and marketing partner for TKPI Wood Products and also acts as an independent sourcing and sales firm from other factories. Led the launch for the North American market, creating pricing structure, product offering, and other needed marketing tools. As the company leader in North America, I drove all sales and marketing activities, trade show organization, international and national freight issues, accounting, claims resolution, and all other critical business functions. The sales concept was factory direct container loads to distributors or other flooring manufacturers.

Hired and supervised a direct report rep and supervised a transferred employee from the German office.

    WFI was an importer and distributor of wood flooring productsthe company has ceased operations.

    Regional Sales Manager. Managed a region of states serviced by distributors with locations. Three of these were new in . Implemented the program to take WFI from “new” to “performing” in the marketplace.  Managed the sales and service of customers who bought direct. Responsibilities included the evaluation of current and potential distributors, managing the launch of four product lines with these distributors, training distributor personnel, and making joint sales calls to place display units at the retail store level. Managed product complaints and other issues that required field sales support. Created, implemented, and managed a program for independent rep agencies, to facilitate growth into a new market segmentthe commercial market. Evaluated and recruited reps and established pricing, commission, and sample programs.

    Permagrain was a manufacturer of acrylic impregnated and other wood flooring products.
