    Working within a fast paced environment processing hospitality orders and liaising with customers, suppliers and the catering department to meet demands. Excellent communication skills are paramount and good knowledge of Microsoft packages such as Word, Excel & Outlook are vital, also trained and experienced on inhouse information and communication systems technology such as Nexus. Good organisational and planning skills are essential to the role, as is a passion for customer service and problem solving. Managerial experience was gained in this role and during this position I have gained awards for excellent performance.

    Events coordination and hospitality planning. Position required excellent organisational and communication skills. A cool head was needed to work in such a fast paced environment, duties involved organising and catering for large scale events such as business conferences and weddings. Delegation of duties to junior staff to ensure the preparation and running of the event went smoothly. Liaising with clients and the kitchen to ensure demands were met.

    Welsh Water, St Mellons, Cardiff.

    This position was temporary maternity cover based in the Welsh Water contact centre dealing with customer enquiries over the phone. Duties involved taking payments, setting up direct debits, advising customers of details of their account and payment plan options. Experience gained involved training on customer database systems CAS, Tallyman, Microsoft Word & Excel, ability to handle complaints and deal with all types of different customers. Excellent communication skills were needed and the ability to work with computers and be I.T literate was vital.
