Advise, consult, and exchange
pertinent information, representing the Department at highlevel meetings
of Latin American and Caribbean officials. Coordinate professional and
clerical staff in program and administrative operations, in partnership
with the Department Director and aligned with standards of the OAS General
Secretariat, Assistant Secretariat for Political Affairs, and Department
for State Modernization and Governance.
Identify program opportunities,
define objectives, develop proposals, determine project strategies,
and manage risk on different programs for enhanced state modernization,
public management, and democratic governance in Latin American and the
Caribbean. Identify current and potential donors, partners, and counterpart
political institutions. Facilitated preparation, negotiation, financing,
and finalization of agreements and contracts. Determine priorities and
allocate resources to achieve cost efficiency while ensuring onschedule
