My advanced CBT Diploma supported by my other academic achievements has allowed me to gain extensive experience with clients with substance abuse issues from various walks of life, including highly successful executives under immense professional pressure, volatile and potentially dangerous young people, the elderly and I have counseled for death and dying; all in either group or individual therapeutic settings. Because of their individual uniqueness I am flexible in my design and approach with my client&;s recovery plans. Confidentially, respect and setting boundaries are always present within my practice. I have more than years&; experience providing smoking cessation therapy for individuals, groups and communities. I have designed and delivered educational whole health related workshops and managed a whole health related newsletter. Whilst living in Chiang Mai Thailand l volunteered at Wat Doi Tham, furthering my study of insight meditation in return for teaching English each day to the Thai Buddhist monks.
