Duties involved assisting the pharmacist
in the daytoday running of the pharmacy by providing medication to
patients and providing pharmaceutical care under the supervision of
the pharmacist. Duties also involved dispensing, stock taking and providing
pharmaceutical care in the medical centre pharmacy. I took this as an
opportunity to experience the range of professional activities and challenges
that come with working in an actual health facility.

Duties involved working in a team and
doing administrative work.
Avenues Hospital, Zimbabwe
The various hospital wards each had a
pharmacy and I worked on a rotation basis in every department under
the direct supervision of a pharmacist. Duties in the main pharmacy
involved stock taking and filling out orders made by health professionals
in the hospital. Duties in the retail pharmacy involved dispensing and
providing pharmaceutical care to patients.
Interests and Achievements
Hobbies: Swimming, playing tennis and
hockey. I love to travel and learn new languages. I also enjoy watching
movies and reading.
