Main activities and responsibilities 

  • Responsible for cleanliness and maintenance of all guest suites, public and crew areas are maintained to a company standard as well as PH standards.
  • Responsible for guests’ enquiries that are made prior a cruise or filed from previous cruises to be accommodated as requested bedding, bar set up requests, any additional items to be placed into suite.
  • Planning and coordinating short and long term activities of housekeeping supervisors, stewardesses and HK utilities.
  • Ensuring daily inspections of guest suites and public spaces are completed, as well as operating the smooth running of the ship laundry and linen room.
  • Training, scheduling and evaluating performance of Housekeeping personnel.
  • Responsible for loading/off loading, distribution and storage of guest luggage.
  • Replenishment/inventory of stock items used within the Housekeeping Department.
  • Responsible for uniform and linen stock, inventory and ordering.
  • Working closely with the other departments.
  • Monitoring, auditing guests’ comments and departmental rating to ensure guests’ expectations are met. 
  • Dealing with guests issues related to Housekeeping Department operation.
