Re: Legal Receptionist Position
Dear Human Resources,
I am interested in position as a Legal Receptionist where I will have the ability to utilize my skill
set. As a student about to complete the Paralegal Studies Bachelor Degree program at Humber
College, I bring a fresh empathetic outlook to the future of the Paralegal industry. Humber’s
Paralegal Degree program has recently been reviewed by the Law Society of Upper Canada, and
meets the standards and core competencies for paralegal education program accreditation.
In direct connection with this position I have completed courses in insurance law, small claims
court and tribunal practices and procedures and legal research and writing. Through these courses
I have successfully learned how to clearly and effectively draft legal documents in plain language
with a clientcentered approach. Furthermore, I have firmly grasped important legal principles
relating to advocacy, contract and tort law, and the charter of rights and freedoms, which would be
beneficial in this position.
Please refer to my resume for a detailed review of my credentials. I look forward to our
meeting to further elaborate upon my qualification and experiences. You may reach me by
email or phone at . Thank you in advance for your consideration.
Yours truly,
Cheriese G.
