    For the last years he has been working for Columbus McKinnon Corp. CMCO in various functions like President, Product & Materials Manager and Managing Director Asian Operations. During the entire time he set up the two Chinese manufacturing facilities, the Hong Kong branch and the distribution operation in Thailand. The initial investment was very small x K US$ and he had employees in . In the first years they achieved an aggregate average annual growth of % with a net profit before tax between %%. He persistently used his entrepreneurial spirit and corporate freedom to introduce six entire new lines of products while implementing all the additional and completely different manufacturing processes and technology to the factories. In he restructured the entire management and implemented LEAN, SOX compliance and SAP in the company. Today they are employing about people and represent a major supply base and distribution point for our world wide operations. 
    It is a multicultural, multilingual and multifunctional environment with a lot of challenges which requires a true generalist to run the four separate operations. He has travelled to fiftytwo and lived in nine different countries, where he learned to speak five languages.     Various managerial positions in Columbus McKinnon Corp., i.e. President of the Chinese, the Hong Kong and the Thailand Operations, MD Asia Pacific, Product and Materials Manager, Project Leader, Corporate European Eva Representative. He pushed a strong manufacturing development with profitable growth. 
    In his drive to enhance the delivery of flawless components and parts he visited hundreds of subsuppliers' factories in China and the rest of Asia. 
    In order to increase service and sales, he went into the deep gold, platinum and coal mines of South Africa, to ship yards, steel plants, chemical plants, aircraft maintenance hangars and railway repair depots.

    December – January years months  

    As CEO he performed the strategic planning of a plastic injection company with employees in Ireland. He successfully implemented the ISO TQA in the factory and gained several major accounts.

After transfer to South Korea and later to Taiwan he arranged the OEM production of monitors, mother boards, interface cards and peripherals with Hyundai Electronics, Samsung and later a variety of Taiwanese subsuppliers.
