Account Management / Persuader / Influencer: A poor relationship between two companies was costing
new business opportunities. I created a positive working atmosphere by exceeding the expectations of
others and gained the respect of the sales reps and the senior management teams. Result: Increased
sales by $, per year and continued to exceed our targeted sales targets year after year.
Operations Management / Team Building: The service installers had little or no motivation to complete a
task well and the consequences were losing customers to our competitors. I created a more positive
working environment by rotating weekend and evening call coverage amongst more team members and
providing spiffs to encourage them to complete their service call commitments. Result: Increased service
call commitments creating better looking installations and a happier work environment reducing the amount
of lost business.
Account Management: Weak CRM software systems consumed too much time, lacked input of vital
information and left too much room for error costing the business to lose tens of thousands of dollars in lost
equipment and billing. Participated in full software design to incorporate all necessary fields for complete
data input and streamlined processes with all necessary information. Result: Finding over $, in
missed billing for one customer alone essentially offsetting the cost for the system upgrade.
Business Development: Product rebranding and marketing through the identification of better pack size
and product mix to target smaller businesses. Chose several existing customers to change out their current
systems and allow us to field test the new program for days. Result: The million dollar project was a
complete success and the products were launched to market through our distributors within days.
Sales Leadership / Regional Management / Prospecting & Business Competition: The opportunity
was to target our largest competitor in the region and compete for an additional $ million in street
business. Utilizing customer contact information I mapped out and organized effective regions, assigned
sales and oversaw the service installation and product par levels. Result: Over new accounts were
taken worth approx $ each per year, net worth $. million annually
