    This company has grown to be one of the worlds largest logistics, freight and warehousing companies ranked th by market cap, dominating the middleeast and with subsidiaries in Asia the U.S. & Europe Geologistics, Transoceanic, Translink, Matrix, Nas etc.. It has a billion dollar contract with the U.S. military to source, warehouse, transport and supply all of the militaries food requirements in Iraq and Kuwait, along with a joint venture for Afghanistan. It also has a $.bn DOD Heavy Lift contract to move in and out of theatre military units equipment from tanks down, plus an in theatre Line Haul and formerly an Air Lift contract with KBR / Halliburton as well as emergency food air lift capabilities which we operated in my AOR’s every other season due to road closure etc. 

    Key Responsibilities:

  • Hub area Operations Manager in Iraq FOB’s QWest, Sykes, Warrior, Kirkuk, McHenry, Bernstein – includes DFAC’s & MKT sites, later for Anaconda and finally for Baghdad AOR’s.
  • Served as the LNO liaison for rdSB, thCSSB, thBSB, /nd FA, DCMA, S, TTM recovery, S, Military Food Advisors, S&S, SPO, Trans, thSCE, Military MCT, Escort Units, DFAC’s, MKT’s and KBR MCT as well as sundry other units involved in heavy lift and Class in this area of operations while liaising with military command in Iraq up to and including commanding General level.
  • Organising emergency food lift operations to various bases in my AOR. This included liaising with Air Chiefs over aircraft landing capabilities, feeding them tonnage, turn radius, take off distances etc of various unfamiliar to them Soviet military supply aircraft. Organising downloading and flight permissions.
  • Matrixing, planning and the movement of trucks within the Sustainance Brigade and Movement Control Teams convoys.
  • Providing intel, status, incident and other reports for both Agility / PWC and our military clients.
