Let me introduce myself briefly. I gained basic knowledge of Mining skills from College of Engineering, Anna University, Chennai and M.B.A. from Alagappa University. Currently, I am working as Mines Manager with Patel Energy Ltd for Indonesian coal mining operation since .

In , I had completed my First Class Mines Manager Certificate of Competency, to manage Coal mine projects, issued by Directorate General of Mines Safety, Govt. of India. The extensive  knowledge I  gained  from  my  underground  and  large opencast mining operation  has enlightened me in many ways. I  believe  I  can share  my  expertise  with  you in terms of mining and operations, if given the opportunity.

I am a Professional Mining Engineer having +years of experience in Coal Mining Industry. I have broad experience across the Industry from grassroot level of mining projects as Exploration, Mining geology, planning of Openpit mining, Production management, Environmental Management with good Team management skills. Also, I had + years of Corporate Planning and Projects department experience of the largest Coal Mining Company in India.  
 
Currently, I am working as Mines Manager with PT.Patel Surya Minerals for Indonesian Coal Mining operations for the last years in Indonesia.

  • Assessment by interpreting the available data with MapInfo software and conduct field investigation to find out Coal Outcrop, topography, human habitation, available infrastructure and logistics.

    Key Responsibilities

  • Mine Planning: Planning and selection of equipment, Operational Planning, Scheduling of Coal production, dump designing.
  • Operational Monitoring:  Production target achievement, equipment performance, costs incurred, sequence of the operations and bench movements, proper disposal of OB material and discharge of pit water into river stream after desilt.
  • Budgeting and Costing: Preparation of Revenue budget for Monthly operations and initiate Cost control monitoring with respective of prebudget amount.
  • Production Management: Manpower planning, Material supply, Shift operation Monitoring, Periodic Review on effectiveness of equipment achievement of hour, cost incurred, fuel usage
  • Safety : Directing, monitoring and Controlling of all the operation are being carried out as per the Standard Operational ProcedureSOP
  • Fuel supply:  Assessing fuel demand Diesel.maintaining the supply register and checking for the Controlled fuel distribution and analysis of daily Fuel Ratio for mining operation

    The project is working with the stripping ratio of :. The rated coal production per month is ,T capacity and overburden of , BCM. The total manpower deploying for the entire operation is and Shoveldumper combination being practiced. As the coal deposited below the hard sand stone strata of about m thickness, Ripper dozer DR also been deployed for ripping of overburden. For Loading of Coal and OB, .Cum capacities shovel with T capacity trucks used for load hauling. Apart from production, grader Komatsu and PC also deployed for road maintenance and ancillary operations. Crushing of the coal at the pit head stock pile itself arranged tph. 

    Significant Highlights:  

    . Operation Cost CPT reduced by proper planning and monitoring of OB disposal site.

    . Productive Machineries Utilization being achieved % by proper scheduling of Maintenance and application.

    . Productivity increased by planning proper haul road gradient in pit as well as disposal yard.
