    Institutional Advancement:

  • Tasked to set annual charter association’s program performance targets and budgets with board leadership and Association's Executive team, served as the SME representing the Southeast charter for ALA national CRM design project
  • Garnered recognition from the Orange County Public School System as the approved continuing education provider for asthma medication training and tobacco cessation training and provided guidance to other ALA offices charter wide for replication
  • Responsible for all Freedom From Smoking Certification trainings for the southeast for the past two years
  • Strategic Partnerships:

  • Negotiated a relationship with the University of Central Florida College of Nursing that developed into an articulated agreement between the college and ALA for the Open Airways for Schools OAS program to be implemented as a capstone health intervention for the RN/BSN students, resulting in nearly students annually served with OAS through the college for the past three years
  • Orchestrated relationships with the Respiratory Care programs at Seminole State College and Daytona State College resulting in agreements, resulting in Open Airways for Schools delivered by these colleges reaching an average of students annually since
  • Created a relationship with the Orlando VA Medical Center that has resulted in adoption of Freedom From Smoking at five centers assisting more than smoking service members to quit since
  • Provided a partnership letters for Orange County Environmental Protection Division as part of a successful EPA grant proposal to fund diesel emissions retrofits for the Orange County Public Schools bus fleet, and to Lynx as part of a successfully funded grant proposal to retrofit Lynx buses to biodiesel and for the construction of a biodiesel blender at the Lynx fueling depot
