Ensure that the
recruited staff undergoes induction training and thereafter refresher
training every year at centers designated by PFI/CBCI
Maintain the attendance
register and ensure timely payment of salary for CCC staff
Ensure good patient up take by establishing linkages with the ART Centers,
ICTC, other hospitals, PLHA networks, NGOs implementing programmes as
well as with the medical practitioners and district healthcare facilities
in the area.
Monitoring and supervision :Supervise the functioning of the
DIC through monthly review meetings with the staff
Ensure data
quality checks to ensure accuracy of data generated by DIC staff by
checking with the registers and records maintained at the DIC
Ensure that monthly/quarterly
reports are sent in a timely manner to GSACS/GSNP+
Ensure that all
staff at the facility are sensitized on the package of services available
for the prevention and control of HIV/AIDS so as to build ownership
and also remove myths and misconceptions and prevent instances of stigma
