building, and maintaining aesthetically pleasing food gardens for clients.

Alta Environmental Center: Alta, UT
May – Present
Building on Alta Ski Area's year heritage of conservation, the Alta Environmental
Center was created in to improve internal sustainability practices across
departments; support research and collaboration with Alta’s external partners; and
communicate progress with its skiers. The organization’s primary focus is to
constantly look for ways to decrease the ski area’s carbon footprint by empowering
the Alta Community.
Developed and implemented the Center’s business plan
Collaborated with a design team to create web site, brand, and marketing tools
Established partnerships with Alta's community, government, and other
stakeholders to implement sustainability initiatives
Community baseline audit
Participated in the hiring process to ensure the Center moved forward and grew
as the founders intended
Alta Ski Lifts Company: Alta, UT
Fall – January
Winter duties included mitigating avalanche hazards, training new hires, performing
onhill medical care, and serving as a spokesman for the company.
Summer duties included collaboration with each department within the company to
maintain and improve the resort.
Holiday Expeditions: Green River, UT
River Guide/Company Leader
Responsibilities as a Company Leader included hour customer service with a
multifaceted goal of providing safe and enjoyable multiday river trips, managing the
company’s warehouse operations, and training new guides in boating techniques,
interpersonal skills, and customer care.
