Followedup offshore with the pipelays total of trips onboard the Skandi Navica. Once latter was completed oversaw the precommissioning onboard the Grampian Surveyor. Initial start was onboard Stolt&;s Seaway Polaris pipelay barge for a series of subsea pipelines " x mi, " x mi " x mi & &; x ." flexible riser ranging from a water depth of &; to &;. Job duties were to oversee all stations, film interpretation, welder qualifications in Pointe Noire and the fabrication/welding of the tiein spools & wyes. Preceded to Stolt&;s Seaway Eagle for the installation of the riser clamps/risers, rigid jumpers, tiein spools & installation aids. Continued & completed the project overseeing all precommissioning activities onboard Stolt&;s Seaway Legend. The Propane & Butane lines were fabricated as quad joints. In addition to this was the installation of x Plems, UTA, umbilical, eight buoys, loading hoses, diving inspection & the HPU. April/ August/ Position: Site Inspector Company: El Paso Pipeline Responsibilities: Duties pertaining to welding inspector, vendor surveillance, gas meter skids/piping, hot taps, tieins, compressor/regulator stations, offshore pipeline abandonment&;s/riser repairs, welder qualifications API/ASME, hydrostatic testing DOT, RT film interpretation, dive vessels and final inspection reports.
