CAREER PROFILE 

Performed active military service acquiring multifarious and rich professional experience spanned over years exercising positive command and leadership, efficiently and economically managing major Pakistan Navy contracts with foreign governments, international contractors constantly resolving general and admin issues. 

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS 

 
 
 
Director Ration, Paints, Oils and Lubricants DR&POL:  As a first director of R&POL I was responsible to establish R&POL directorate on strong footing while ensuring the uninterrupted supplies of ration to all PN troops from costal areas to Islamabad and arrangement of Fuel, Lub Oils and Paints etc for all PN platforms and establishments. As a director I had interaction with various local/ international firms like PSO, Shell, Akzonobel, BP Marines, etc.
 
 
 
Logistic Coordinator Pakistan Navy at USA.   Being the coordinator for PN at US Navy Inventory Control Point NAVICP Philadelphia USA, I was responsible for close coordination with US authorities of all types of repair/ spares support for PN including placements of orders, arrangement of airlift/ shipments and arrangements of funds and monitoring of expenditure incurred on all these accounts. In view of my extra ordinary performance I was awarded Letter of Appreciation by Rear Admiral Burbe Commander US NAVICP.
 
 
 
 
Commanding Officer PN School of Logistics and Management.   Besides exercising overall executive command of this premier institute of PN, I was responsible for the training of both officers and men. It is important to mention that various short and long courses of officers BBA, Advance Logistic Course etc, Sailors Store Duties, Account Keeping, Cheff/Steward training etc and other civilian clerical staff including foreigners are being conducted at this institute. Apart from academies, I was responsible for imparting complete military training. and personal grooming of young officers and new recruits.
 
 
 
 
Commanding Officer PN Submarine Stores Depot.  As CO of this strategic PN Depot, I was exercising overall control of large inventory of PN Submarines right from placement of orders on foreign OEMs till issuance to units and PN repair organizations. This supply chain activity involves order placement, receipt, stowage/ warehousing, packing and preservation, maintenance of stocks threshold, accounting, stocktaking, issuance to user/ repair organization and door step delivery. Additionally, the finalization of refit, major/ top overall and other routine packages which requires intensive working to ensure timely completion of all important/ critical repair and subsequent operationalization of platforms, major systems and important equipment.
 
 
 
Commanding Officer PN Victualling Stores Depot.   As CO of PN VSD I was responsible to ensure initiation of timely indents of dry/ fresh provisions for entire PN. Placement of orders on suppliers and subsequent receipt, storage and preservation of all perishable non perishable commodities. Additionally, my responsibility was to ensure timely door step delivery of all types of ration to entire PN Fleet and shore establishments stretching from coastal areas to Islamabad. 
 
 
 
 
 
 
Asstt Director Purchase Navy at Dte General Defence Procurement.  At this important post I was entirely responsible for procurement of major platforms, major systems and equipment for PN. During my tenure at DGDP, I finalized major contracts worth billions of rupees. Apart from this, I was entrusted with additional responsibilities of Director Shipping Cell and Incharge Foreign Military Sales Cell. By virtue of these additional responsibilities, I finalized contracts with PNSC, PIAC and NIC for shipments and insurance of Defence Cargo. As Incharge of FMS Cell I finalized some of the major deals with US Govt for all three Services Pak Army, Navy and Airforce. Due to my extraordinary performance and huge savings to national exchequer, I was awarded TamgaeImtiaz Military on August by the President of Pakistan.
 
 
Duties of Onboard Ships/ Ashore.   During initial career of my service, I performed duties as head of department/ staff officer on various important billets both ashore and afloat as Supply Officer, Commander Purchase Division of Naval Depot, staff officer at Naval Headquarters and deputy asst Purchase Director at Director General Defence Purchase.
