Regional Director South

I joined IPM&SL in Apr as the Regional Director South. Managing the Facility Management Division spread over Mn. Sq. feet in the States of Kerala, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Goa and an overseas location at Colombo, providing Facility Management services to more than Clients comprising of Corporates, Developers and Individuals in the Indian industrial, office, retail and leisure and residential sectors. At IPM&SL, I am responsible for Administration, Finance, Business Development, Recruitment, Operations and Customer relations, sourcingselectingmonitoring the vendors and for the Region’s functioning and profitability as an independent Profit Centre. Providing direction to about direct reporting employees and approximately outsourced workforce located at Regional offices. 

Head of Facility Management

I took over as Head of Facility Management INDIA for Colliers International Property Services Pvt. ltd. in April . Located at Bangalore, I looked after the operations for entire South India and managed this Division independently. I looked after Administration, Finance, Business Development, Recruitment, Operations and Customer relations, sourcingselectingmonitoring the vendors. Was responsible for its functioning and profitability as an independent Profit Centre.

 

Vice President Operations

Prior to working at Colliers International, I worked for two years at a Pvt. Ltd. Facility Management Company, Facility Management Solutions Group. The Group had a turnover of about mn. INR. I headed this company as the Vice President and was reporting to the M.D. My job was to lead the company from front and was responsible for DG sets renting, operation and maintenance of Smoke detectors, Fire alarm systems, CCTV, Access control, Housekeeping, Security, Catering, HR, Finance and Accounts, Formulation of company policies, liaison with local Govt authorities, Marketing etc. The Group’s total staff strength was about . During this tenure, I handled Facilities for reputed IT companies, BPO’s, Govt. organizations, Banks etc. To name a few – Convergy’s, Adobe systems,, Xansa, SBI Academy, Bechtel India, Delphi air, Ircon International etc.

 

Manager Administration

At Nathpa Jhakri Joint Venture, a joint venture of Impregilo, S.p.A., Italy and H.C.C. Ltd. Mumbai, in Himachal Pradesh I worked as the Administration Logistics Manager from February – Apr , and was supervising a team of about persons.

At NJJV I looked after the comprehensive Facilities Management of a gated township with modern amenities, spread over about acres of land comprising of over fully furnished airconditioned villas of international standards for Expatriate and Indian Officers along with an Office Complex for about Officers, a Hospital, a School, a Cafeteria and a Guest House. I was responsible for the setup, repairmaintenance and upkeep of the entire residential complex within the projected monetary forecasts. Here I also looked after two Restaurants, two clubs, transport, travel, and embassy related jobs, Visas, Supermarket, Laundry, Security and Stores.

 

Head of Catering Management

Having worked for three years at Piccadilly, I moved on to work as the Catering Officer of a residential Army Public School at Dagshai H.P.. At APS, I was solely responsible for setting up and successfully running the entire catering department for persons independently. I successfully arranged large banquets for over persons which won appreciations from the Governor of H.P., Chief of the Army Staff, G.O.C.inC Western Command etc.

 

General Manager

Having completed my training at The Clarks Shiraz, Agra, I worked as the Deputy General Manager of a rooms, Hotel Piccadilly, Chandigarh Four Star. At Piccadilly, I was reporting directly to the Chairman and was responsible for the entire operations of the hotel, its profitability and smooth running.
