Jan ­ Dec Accent Group Ltd Hotel Services Manager I was responsible for managing four sites consisting of one secure hospital and two open mental health units. My fourth site was an Extracare scheme for older people in Co.Durham. I project managed two other PFI mental health units with Leeds Mental Health Trust and prepared them for commissioning, opening and subsequent operation between January to February . This work included managing all elements of the FM services and input into building design, choosing fixtures, fittings and finishes. I was responsible for estates management and the management of hard and soft FM services including the operation and monitoring of these contracts across my sites. Responsible for health and safety and water management. I was responsible for contract compliance and performance monitoring using a financial penalty model as part of this PFI project. I sourced suppliers for the PFI and set contracts for soft FM services, this included evaluating and letting contract submissions. I was responsible for the budgets on all four sites. This remit includes generating additional income from a shop, staff restaurant and external office buffet work totalling a projected income of over £k. I worked as Acting Facilities Manager June ­ Dec taking total operational responsibility of all sites and associated staff. This was a temporary arrangement due to a vacant post.
