As a lease agent,
my job entitles me to answer phone calls, take messages, file tenant
paperwork, etc. I also put work orders into our computer system, put
in prospect information, processed rental payments and other income
that our company may receive. We have Section residents as well and
as part of my job description, I am responsible for making these appointments
and filling out all necessary paperwork. I input invoice information
and take care of all payables from our vendors.
While working for this
company, I have gained knowledge of many different skills for which
I have been rewarded, for example: Excellent communication and interpersonal
skills, proven negotiation abilities to close leasing agreements, and
efficiently handling multiple tasks. I have been given a raise due to
my performance of these skills.

My duties included
taking phone messages for all the nurses, filing charts when needed,
sending and receiving medical records, posting charges and making sure
all patient data was up to date and correct.
Medical Assistant /
I handled the medical
front desk. Attained and practiced medical insurance information of
patients rapidly and correctly. I made sure each of the patients personal
information such as address, date of birth, etc was put into the computer
for all billing purposes. It was my job to make sure all patients were
being checked in and to make sure each doctor was receiving the correct
chart for each patient.

I organized all
patient charts. I was to ensure that new information was added to the
files in a timely manner and to discard any outdated materials and send
them to inactive storage. I also had additional responsibilities such
as sending and receiving faxes, sorting mail, and entering patient data.
I also assisted at the front desk checking patients out and scheduling
new appointments. Posting charges using ICD coding was also one of
the many things I was taught to do to help take some of the work load
off the front desk staff.
I was recognized as doing
a great job as the file clerk for this company, and I had received multiple
raises. I was given the opportunity to move up to be a receptionist
for the office due to my performance as well.
