Leading the club coaching programme, planning and implementing sessions tailored for the novice
competitive swimmer, through to national swimmers and an international triathlete. Heading the ‘Swimmer
Development’ arm of the club committee, responsible for the ongoing competitive development of the club
with regards to swimmer/team performances, coach mentoring and club structure and planning. Working
with the clubs committee to improve participation numbers, community projects and events and

Predominantly based within the Physical Education department, teaching both practical and academical
sports, for Key Stages , and . For Key Stage working with BTEC First Diploma Sports groups and
GCSE P.E students, and with Key Stage pupils introducing topics such as practical anatomy and
physiological through the role of a sports therapist. Supervising work that has been set in accordance with
the school policy. Managing the behaviour of pupils whilst they are undertaking this work to ensure a
constructive environment. Responding to any questions from pupils about process and procedures.
Dealing with any immediate problems or emergencies according to the school’s policies and procedures.
Collecting any completed work after the lesson and returning it to the appropriate teacher. Reporting back
as appropriate using the school’s agreed referral procedures on the behaviour of pupils during the class,
and any issues arising. Lead schools sports leaders award for both Key Stage and Sixth form. Students
who took Sports Leadership Level Award at Key Stage , and progressed to sports based further
education in Sixth form either through BTEC National Diploma or A Level, advanced to Level Sports
Leadership Award. All students passed all aspects of the course.

Coached swimmer onto the British Swimming World Class Talent squad. Coached Swimmers to
National Gold Medals. Coached numerous swimmers to become national qualifiers, regional and county
champions, medallists, finalists and qualifiers. Developed a strong club programme at Daventry Dolphins
with limited resources. Over the past and a half years at Daventry Dolphins, swimmer numbers have
increased by over %.
Presented at the th FINA World Sports Medicine Congress Manchester my undergraduate
research study entitled ‘The Effects of Inspiratory Muscle Training on a Timed minute Swim’ as part of
the Physiology Scientific section of the conference.
