Established in , the Adirondack
League Club is a private fishing, hunting and social club with members
located in the southern Adirondacks of New York. It is the largest
preserve of its kind east of the Mississippi comprised of , acres.
One of the main objectives is the maintenance of a preserve for the
rest and recreation of its members. Little Moose Lodge is the
main lodging and restaurant facility of three on the Club. The preserve
offers fly fishing of lake trout, rainbow and brown trout, and land
locked salmon in its lakes, rivers and streams. Hunting consists
of Black Bear, Deer, Turkey, and Grouse during the fall and winter seasons.
Over miles of maintained hiking trails and miles cross country
ski trails offer the members year round recreation. The property is
actively logged each winter to promote forest regeneration and wildlife
habitat. Lodge is open year round with “High Season” occurring from
July – Labor Day.
