    After completing an expatriate assignment with Aquila, joined Applebee’s to implement PeopleSoft and was promoted to lead the company’s entry into China.  The international role has evolved to include responsibility for Asia operations, international franchise sales, international support services and new franchisee onboarding.  Since joining the international division, the number of restaurants has nearly doubled and a footprint established in key markets.

  • Directed a team of to convert the aging U.K. accounting system to a global PeopleSoft platform.  Geographic dispersion, cultural differences, accounting laws, taxation, the introduction of the Euro, and a desire to manage the U.K. books in several currencies added to the project’s complexity.  The scope included accounts payable, receivables, general ledger, VAT, and multicurrency.
