Frampton, Dorset, DT NB
I am well prepared to do tasks
in a work environment. I have completed my GCSE’s and AS Levels gaining
passes in all of my subjects. I am now studying for my A levels.
I am a kind and helpful person;
also I am very patient with people. I have displayed these qualities
when working at Farmers markets, also when I have been responsible for
young children when babysitting and as a F.A. referee with children
I am someone who is very approachable
and happy to help people when they ask.
I am committed to doing a
good job and can be flexible when working at the evening, weekends and
during the school holidays.
I am a fully qualified football
referee. After completing this course I have since refereed three county
cup finals and have also volunteered to help at my old school, Dorchester
While attending Dorchester
Middle School I was selected to take part in a Young Sports Leaders
award. This meant I helped to teach students in a primary school sport
and games activities.
I have received many awards
at my school, in particular representing my school in football, rugby,
basketball and tennis for which I was nominated by my teacher for GCSE
PE sports tie.
I have been committed to playing
football since I was years old. I have played with the same team,
trained and played every season. During the times I have been injured
I have always supported the other players by attending the games.
I studied Tae Kwon Do for
two years and achieved the level of blue belt. However due to work and
school commitments I made a choice to continue with football and tennis
knowing that I could return to this at a later date.
When I undertook the Sports
Leaders Award I gained a lot of experience of being able to help not
only children but also other teachers from the school. This enabled
me to gain experience in working with others and communicating with
I have been working with WH
Smiths for over a year, during this time I have been trusted with roles
including being in charge of the keys to the store, and telephoning
the head office for conference calls or reporting losses. On occasions
I give my time to support a family business working at farmers markets
around the county. For this I am required to hold a food hygiene certificate,
which I do.
I have also done a lot of
babysitting for relatives. This gave me a lot of responsibility and
by looking after them I have proved that I am good at being able to
deal with that responsibility.
I worked at the local pub
for months before moving to WH Smiths. I worked in a busy kitchen;
this meant that I had to work under pressure and to a time limit.
I play football every Saturday;
I also play aside football on a Thursday night. This shows my commitment
to the sport, as I love to play as much as possible.
I coach Football at Dorchester
Middle School on a Tuesday night. I do this to give something back to
my old teachers, who gave a lot to help me.
I have been coached weekly
in tennis for the past years and represent my school tennis team.
I have been a regular player
at Martinstown Cricket club through the junior system, I know play men’s
cricket times a week in season
I did a one week’s work
experience at St Osmunds Schools, teaching PE and Humanities to children
between and . This gave me firsthand experience in teaching and
coaching. That week also encouraged me to do more coaching, as I realized
it was something I really enjoyed.
