To obtain a secure position with a strong and growing company that could lead to upward
growth and possible leadership.
ExpressJet Airlines, / /
With the return to ExpressJet, I was working for a completely different airline; Continental
Express. The basic daytoday operational goals were the same, but I was able to hone some customer
service skills that put emphasis on timerestraints, as well as fastpaced and ever changing environments.
I was given the opportunity to travel to different stations and help out while they were shorthanded,
working special charter flights, or in training. This allowed me to become a more diverse and adaptable
agent. I was also given a leadership role as I was sent to different training courses to train and employ
new standards and practices, in different departments, such as baggage service, and working in difficult
situations, such as delays, oversells, and safety.

As a customer service agent for the Intel Corp. Air Shuttle, I had picked up more skills in the
aviation industry. As a private company charter, I experienced differences in security, but I performed
the same customer service duties. I had learned to keep a keen eye on the entire operation, as
well as communications between the security guards, baggage handlers, and my manager. I was
also able to pick up various housecleaning duties, such as aircraft detailing, and shop maintenance.

This crossutilized position allowed me to continue working with airline passengers as a customer
service agent, as well as learn the outside operations. As an operations agent I put together flight
paperwork, kept all employees informed of all flights and any changes, and kept a liaison with the
caterers, fuelers, and baggage handlers. I was one of two designated baggage service agents and kept
track of all claims, including organizing and following up with customers.
Hallmark Aviation Services, / /
At Hallmark Aviation my supervisors and managers saw potential in me, and I was quickly trained
to handle the flight operations, as well as head up the baggage service department. I ensured any and
all missing baggage was promptly found by ways of messaging, as well as setting up communications
between myself and other baggage agents in different cities, including the use of personal email and
phones. Overseeing operations I handled flight paperwork, communication with our baggage handlers
and crew, as well as performed security checks on aircrafts and catering. I created different plans
for each day based on the crew, as different pilots had different preferences. I also organized and
maintained an employee phone list which lead to better communication between the day and night shift.
Davis Food Coop, / /
As a cashier at a unique grocery store like the coop, I learned my core values of customer
service, and often dealt with a wide variety of coworkers and customers. In addition to basic money
handling and WIC processing, I also learned two sets of produce and bulk codes, the store’s own, as well
as the ones all grocery stores use, and ambidextrous blind tenkey.
I am a quicklearner, patient, and thorough. I work well under highstress and pressured
situations. I've been cleared by the Department of Homeland Security and am trustworthy of sensitive
security information. I'm friendly, funny, and very much a people person. I truly enjoy customer service,
helping people, and the satisfaction I derive from that.
