I am currently a Director for a big box concept clothing company. Some of the locations are as big as over , square ft. We sell fashion for ladies, men's, boys, accessories, shoes and home furnishing. I look after stores through out Canada, such as Ontario, Winnipeg, Edmonton, Calgary and Vancouver. 

Director of Special Projects

Traveled to many parts of the world.

Looked for companies that could be acquired by our company and using their real estate so that we could put one of our brand name stores in these locations.  

Looked for main locations in certain malls that would generate business and report back to the President with my input of what type of numbers those locations could do.  

Was running the operations of the U.S market with supervisors and a visual team.

Was involved closely with the President and the Buying Department in purchasing fashion forward styles for two of the chains.  

Also was purchasing clearance items that would be sold at very low prices for clearance outlets and special events.  

Was accountable in starting a new Clearance concept business in the Toronto market and became very successful.  

This concept allowed the regular stores send their markdown product, slow sellers and or recalls to these concept clearance locations.  

This helped the regular stores give them more room to receive fresh new product instead of keeping them.

Was accountable for Supervisors and up to stores.

I was the first Regional Manager for the company in .

My first project was to move to British Columbia and looked after the West.

After years of amazing results and growth, returned to Toronto to be promoted to a much bigger region.

My objectives were to ensure Sales were achieved.

Wage Cost was met by making sure all stores were using the proper budgeted hours.

Loss Prevention that the shrinkage of the region was below the company's guide lines.

This was a ladies trendy club wear concept.

Was to Recruit an all new fashion management as the company wanted to break through and impress the mall management with a major change over.  

This was the start of our growth in this Chain.

Came up with a new visual concept for this division.

Ensure that the sales objectives were met.

It became a division of more than stores.

This also helped us in acquiring SUZY SHIER as the years passed, Sirens was known for the place to shop when going out partying and going to a club.

My career as a professional operational individual has given me the opportunity to provide direction to the President of the company with many ideas that he was not able to tackle and became DIRECTOR OF SPECIAL PROJECT. This entitled me to work side by side with the President of the company after so many years as a Regional Manager. I would travel to many parts of the world such as the Caribbean, Central America, U.S.A such as L.A, Puerto Rico and Florida to look for new concepts of businesses, locations, and giving competition reports of many the U.S competitors. This position also allowed me to do buying with the President in the wholesale market in Los Angeles and purchased many units for the plus chain stores. The company has more than locations.
