    WAWA, INC., Wawa, PA  

    Senior. IT Project and Engagement Manager, HR and Web Systems  –

    Managed team of Wawa associates and contractors who provided support to all Human Resources and web systems, including HRIS benefits, retirement, and payroll applications, Risk Management Information Systems RMIS, and the company website Wawa.com and Intranet site Mywawa Associate Portal. 

  • Developed web based store level self service ticketing system for store related issues. New system eliminated the need for three additional headcount in the Wawa Call Center to support call volumes and saved approximately , hours annually at store level.
  • Created new governance and SOP models and developed new internal processes to support all HR systems.
  • Complete overhaul design and launch of new Wawa.com website in , which resulted in generating, to date, over $ million in additional revenue during the two years of operation of the redesigned site.
  • Redesigned Mywawa Associate Portal from an informationonly portal to a fully interactive business application, allowing for the creation and delivery of multiple applications designed to automate store associate training, management of store associates, recognition of store associates, and reporting of routine store equipment and ordering issues. 
  • Reorganized and crosstrained existing team members to improve support for business clients and eliminate one single point of knowledge.
  • As IT Project Lead for replacement of legacy HRIS system, acted as IT liaison to project sponsors and senior management teams.  Worked in cooperation with outside consultants and vendors to assess needs, recommend options, gather business requirements, and create functional and technical specifications.  Developed project plan for work streams, and managed project team for conversion work.

    IT Project Manager – SAP BW Implementation 

    IT Lead and Project Manager for SAP Retail Conversion Project responsible for BW Business Warehouse project work stream.  Managed team of Wawa associates and SAP contractors.  Implemented SAP BW Data Warehousing systems for Wawa, Inc.

  • Led development of SAP BW system to handle all retail transactions, financial transactions and Market Basket information, including development of all BW cubes and conversion routines.
  • Documented reporting requirements and developed over new reports.
  • Facilitated delivery of all new store level financial reports to store management via SAP Portal on the Mywawa Associate Portal.
  • Performed as BW Project liaison to project sponsors on senior management team.

    IT Project Manager, Call Center/Data Warehousing  –

    Managed team of five Wawa associates and consultants to consolidate multiple call ticketing systems into one centralized reporting system, Applix, thus eliminating need to support multiple redundant systems.  Responsible for all of Data Warehousing system for Wawa.  Acted as liaison between the Wawa Call Center and the IT department.

  • Facilitated development of data warehouse requirements and functional and technical specifications by working crossfunctionally with multiple stakeholders across multiple departments.
  • Provided sales and shipment information along with budgetary information by providing department analysts with data cubes and reports.
  • Developed three terabyte data warehouse containing over years of sales history, including weekly, daily, daypart, hourly and minute snapshots.
  • Consolidated and redesigned Wawa's call ticketing system from separate systems into integrated platform.  Allowed automated routing of tickets throughout Wawa.  Reduced support staff by two associates by consolidating systems.

    Supply Chain Information Project Manager  –

    Led project team to develop and implement Customer Activated Terminals CAT, which allowed touch screen ordering system for all foodservice items in all Wawa stores. Performed as liaison between IT and Marketing teams in menu and screen designs.

  • Project Manager for store implementation of CAT system by analyzing store needs for hardware, and developing system specifications and design support models
  • Designed initial CAT screens and implemented store pilot to measure associate and customer acceptance.
  • Sourced and selected hardware, designed several store layouts to handle new technical equipment.
  • Executed rollout of system to all Wawa locations over stores.
  • Increased foodservice revenues by $ million annually, decreased customer turnaround time by one minute and reduced store level labor by hours a week.

    Marketing Information Manager 

    Performed as IT Liaison for the Marketing Department, responsible for all technology related projects to support Wawa Marketing Department.

  • Creating budgeting system for Category Managers to create yearly product budgets. 
  • Implemented Wawa Trade Show survey system to gather manager feedback and register special Trade Show Orders.
  • Developed  Data Warehousing requirements for sales data during the bar code scanning conversion project

    Associate Programmer/Analyst  –

    Responsible for development and maintenance of SPAN asset management system and other corporate technical systems.

  • Enhanced store menu systems added new operational systems and reports.
  • Provided technical support for pricing and store reporting systems.
  • Developed reports and as primary IT lead for SPAN asset management system which allowed greater control of vendor billing
  • Member of project teams which upgraded Dairy inventory and order systems.
